President Bush Chooses Sir Rocco Forte's Hotel Astoria in St Petersburg

During his recent visit to St Petersburg in Russia, President Bush chose to stay at The Rocco Forte Collection' five-star Hotel Astoria. The hotel, which has been fully refurbished and is now a member of The Leading Hotels of the World, enjoys a central location next to the landmark St Isaac's Cathedral, making it convenient for all the major attractions and shopping in the heart of the city.

In keeping with the company's philosophy, the refurbishment of the hotel has given it a fresh, stylish look whilst retaining its individuality and Russian ambience. New additions have included Davidov's Russian restaurant, a new bar, Fitness Centre and the latest technology, both in-room and within the conference and banqueting suites.

Sir Rocco commented, 'We have invested a great deal in restoring the hotel to its former glory and have introduced rigorous training programmes for our staff in order to deliver the facilities and service levels expected from a five-star hotel. President Bush's decision to stay with us is testament to this and we were proud to welcome him to the Astoria.'
