Upgrading of the Astoria, St Petersburg; a Rocco Forte hotel
We are delighted to inform you about the latest developments in our continuous process of improving our standards and services.
During the period from December 14, 2006 till March 31, 2007 we will convert 20 rooms into 10 unique suites. Each of these new suites will comprise 60 sqm, with designs by Olga Polizzi. The bathrooms will have natural light, and a separate shower. All of these suites are located on the Bolshaya Morskaya wing of the hotel and overlook our quiet courtyard.
During the period of re-construction this part of our Hotel will be closed. Our guests, staying with us, should not be affected during these improvements.
Also for your information, as part of this upgrade, we will soon be replacing all of our televisions with new larger, interactive LCD flat-screen TV’s, and including video-on-demand and internet to complement the iBAHN broadband we recently installed.
We are also opening in our adjacent Angleterre Hotel, accessible to the guests of the Astoria, a Caviar Bar designed by Olga Polizzi, with stunning views of St Isaac’s Cathedral. We will shortly be sending out more information and photos of this exciting new outlet.
