Sir Rocco Forte's Hotel Astoria Invites You to the Winter Arts Square Festival in St Petersburg
RF Hotels' five-star Hotel Astoria in St Petersburg has put together a selection of packages for art and music enthusiasts. From 27th December 2001 to 5th January 2002, the St Petersburg Philharmonic Hall and the Russian Fine Arts Museum will present the annual Arts Square Festival. Hotel packages are valid over 16 days (23rd December to 8th January) including our Western Christmas and festival period, New Year and Russian Christmas. The whole period is divided into two-day blocks that include accommodation with breakfast, transfers, performances, gala dinners, visits to museums and more. Package contents and prices vary depending on the dates chosen.
The 3rd Arts Square Festival will present famous Russian and foreign artists - Yuri Temirkanov, Gidon Kremer, Terem Quartet, Sergey Leiferkus, Leif Ove Andsnes, Anastasia Volochkova and Gennady Rozhdestvensky. The programme of the festival includes classical concerts and ballet performances in the Great and Small Halls of Philharmonia and in the Russian Museum's Marble Palace.
On 27th December and 5th January the Russian Fine Arts Museum will hold a special exhibition during the festival. This unique exhibition from the museum's collection is specially created to present works of art inspired by and relating to music.
