Hotel Astoria is delighted to offer some great treats for young travellers, helping our guests to create the best memories for their little treasures. Offering games and colouring books, exciting Russian loto, chess and checkmate, you can also enjoy the wonders of the Zoological Museum, where learning turns to fun as you explore flora and fauna from around world. There is also the opportunity to visit the Central Naval Museum and learn about Russian history, naval victories and the glorious heroes of the past.

If you get hungry, Chef Colin Flood is happy to help with his yummy kid's menu and, even better, the unforgettable dessert - Flambe Davidov. These soft pancakes with vanilla ice cream are fried in a pan at your table and make quite a show!

After your meal, the secrets of the oceans are waiting to be revealed in the new Oceanarium, which opened this spring. And to finish off, sweet baskets with hand-made chocolates and delightful cookies!

The Central Naval Museum


The Central Naval Museum highlights the history of Russian navigation and the Russian Fleet, from ancient times to the present day. Visitors can learn about the creation of the Russian navy, the most important naval battles that brought glory to the Russian Fleet, geographical discoveries, and celebrated expeditions.

The Zoological Museum

The Zoological Museum features over 30,000 exhibits, which is just a small selection of the over 15 million that the museum houses, representing all the groups of the animal world - invertebrates, fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals.

The Oceanarium

Occupying 4,700 square metres and containing 1,000 tons of water, the Oceanarium is divided into seven zones of various climates and landscapes.
