Wedding Suites

The elegant design of our rooms is the work of Olga Polizzi, art-director of Rocco Forte Hotels. She has wonderfully combined the classical and contemporary traditions of interior decor. Natural ecological materials include parquet flooring, linen curtains and covers.

Presedential Suites are located on the main corner of the building and panoramic view of the Mariinsky Palace, Statue of Nicholas I, St Isaac’s Square and Cathedral.

These magnificent two-bedroom suites were individually decorated and feature paintings, sculptures, ceramics, furniture, chandeliers and lighting from the Astoria’s original collection as well as antique pieces carefully chosen by Olga Polizzi, Director of Design of Rocco Forte Collection.

Spacious entrance hall offers a build-in wardrobe, full-length antique mirror, antique table for placing bags or notes and doorway to a guest toilet. Dining room follows the entrance hall. The dining table can comfortably seat six persons. To the left is a guest bedroom with a king-size bed that can be converted to two single ones if required. The guest bedroom has its own bathroom and toilet.

To the right of the dining room you enter the lounge and office area. Writing desk has a high-speed internet connection unit. There are a large settee and armchairs to relax and listen to the music of the composer that the suite is named after on the personal CD player. Other composer’s music is also available on the bookshelves.

Master bedroom has a feature bed and mirror wall. Vanity area with dressing table and a walk-in closet leads to large master bathroom decorated in white marble that has large feature bath with hand and power showers as well as separate walk-in shower. Bathrooms are three-piece and supplied with luxurious Italian toiletries, fluffy robes toweling and slippers.

Each bedroom is air-conditioned and offers personal electronic safe, refreshment centre and hairdryer. LCD flat screen TV sets and state-of-the-art interactive satellite television system which includes internet as well as Video- and CD-on demand are available. Telephones with voicemail are located beside the beds, on the desks and in the bathrooms.

Deluxe Suites offer amazing views over the Statue of Nicholas I and the Mariinsky Palace or St Isaac’s Square and Cathedral.

Ambassador Suites (10)

The new Ambassador Suites have a courtyard view and offer the highest level of comfort and style. Each suite has been individually designed by Olga Polizzi to make our guests feel that they have arrived at their home from home.

There is a wonderful sense of space and light that comes not only from the 60 m2 of total floor area but also from the use of pale woods for the parquet flooring, and pastel shades for the linen fabrics. The effect is at once very Russian in its atmosphere and very modern in feel.

Sitting room offers a comfortable sofa and a coffee table. The writing table can be used as a private office desk or for writing postcards home. There is an international telephone with a voicemail messaging system, high-speed internet connection unit and interactive flat screen TV with multi-channel entertainment and internet.

Elegant sliding doors separate sitting room from the bedroom for additional privacy. Bedroom has queen-size bed, a side armchair, and a second interactive flat screen TV. There is a separate walk-in closet in some suites to unpack and put things away out of sight.

Bathroom has natural light coming through the window. The use of black and white marble and old-style fittings give a classical touch. There is a vanity unit with two basins, a bath, a separate shower and a heated floor. Bathrooms are supplied with finest Italian toiletries, fluffy towelling robes and slippers. Each suite is air-conditioned and has mini-bar, safe and telephones in every room and bathroom.

These are two-roomed spacious suites located overlooking St Isaac’s Cathedral. The rooms provide king-size beds. You enter the bedroom through a bright and spacious living room fitted with satellite and cable television, DVD, safe, direct dial telephone and mini-bar.

The bathrooms filled with Italian marble vanity units and glass shelving. All bathrooms have hand and powers showers, and are supplied with toiletries, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers. The powder room for the guests is available.

Junior Suite (3)
These are one-roomed apartment split into two functional parts including bedroom and living room.
Spacious suites are located overlooking St Isaac’s Square.

The rooms provide king-size beds. Black wooden coffee table, comfortable burgundy armchair and sofa situated in the living room are full of invitation to relax and enjoy the cup of coffee. The powder room for the guests is available here.
